Love is the word this week's liturgy speaks to us. Love is the melody this week’s liturgy sings to us.
This coming Sunday's texts are a great Valentine of Love.
We hear God speak to Moses You must love your neighbor, as yourself.
We hear the Psalmist sing The Lord crowns you with love and compassion.
We hear Jesus say to his disciples Love your enemies.
And the Choir of Hope sings the great spiritual I never felt such love in my soul before.
And last evening’s Valentine’s Day rehearsal was a realization of Christ’s words of Love: By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another." John 13: 35 You showed this love over and over this week.

The first great African preacher, Tertullian (c. 160-220 AD) could have been speaking of Choir of Hope when he wrote: See, how they love one another.
