Dear Choir of Hope,
Our Guest Artist, Soprano Joyce Matthews, wrote on behalf of her mother, Maestra Tuggles and her daughter (the lovely teenage soprano who sang with us Tuesday):
Maestro,
Your words of kindness have touched each one of us very deeply.
You say we're the blessing, when we're the ones who have been more than abundantly blessed!
Mama hasn't yet stopped talking about the choir (She loved all the music, but her special favorite songs were "Balm In Gilead", "Were You There" and "Weeping Mary", your fabulous conducting and what a good time she had listening to your choir make such beautiful music.
Truthfully in our choir we've experienced angels from glory coming down to sing with us, and on Tuesday I felt that same thing again. She said that your choir sings so sweetly.
Maestro, you really love Jesus and it shows in ALL that you do.
Me? I'm not that much, but He is EVERYTHING and that's the only reason why I try to sing, because God has been so wonderful to me.
If Jesus was walking the earth in human form, He'd be where your choir members are.
Your choir is so beautiful to me! Oh, how I'm blessed! I just want to be a blessing back to them!
When we see our choir this weekend, we're going to tell them all about the beauty they're missing if they miss out on experiencing Christ Our Hope Choir.
Please tell everyone that we send love.
That we can't wait to see them again on Tuesday evening and thank you and them for allowing us to join in with you.
We applaud you all in Jesus Name!
JM
