The 12:10 PM Mass at Plymouth is moving to Saint James Cathedral temporarily
Our Bishops are encouraging all people over the age of 60 (healthy or not), those with underlying health conditions, those with compromised immune systems and pregnant women to avoid large gatherings of 10 or more people. This means special dispensation is now granted by our Bishops to those unable to attend Mass and receive communion for such health reasons
At the guidance of the Archdiocese and Catholic Community Services, we are postponing all non-essential gatherings for the month of March. Please see the list on this page.
Our Lenten journey encourages us to have moments in the desert to reflect on our relationship with Jesus. The events of the past week have provided us with a unique opportunity to make this spiritual journey more meaningful.
I wanted to update you on the latest guidance from the Archdiocese concerning the COVID 19 - Novel Coronavirus, and alert you to some changes to our daily schedule. Our Bishops encourage all parish communities in King County to do a few things to keep our communities safe, especially our parishioners and Josephinum residents who are most vulnerable from a health perspective. Please see the above list.
More details will be coming out in the days and weeks ahead.
It's at times like these when we need prayer, communion and community. Please pray for our beautiful community as we continue together on our Lenten journey toward the hope of Easter and the Resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior.
Peace,
Deacon Dennis Kelly
